Even from the earliest age Abercorn encourages trips outside of the school throughout the school year.

These trips are be designed to hone life skills, such as how to safely travel as a group when outside of the school buildings, and to enhance the curriculum. The added enthusiasm that a trip can bring to a topic is immeasurable as well as building new memories and experiences that will stay with our children.

In the early years trips focus on age appropriate experiences, including a trip to Odds Farm for the Nursery, and weekly adventures at the Forest School. As pupils journey through the school the trips become increasingly more varied and include an overnight trip to Stratford-Upon-Avon to discover Shakespeare beyond the study of the literature, to Kew Gardens to investigate adaptations and biomes in Science, culminating in a cultural exchange with our sister school in New York in Year 8.

Further information on trips can be found in the following links.
